Far, far away, three sisters sat together at a table: Doubt, Firmness, and Decision.
They would discuss and argue for days, weeks, months. Doubt questioned Firmness. Decision wouldn’t talk much and usually waited to see the outcome of the debate. Every day, beautiful white doves would pass them by and bring new topics for discussion, topics from people who were unable to take decisions concerning their lives.
Doubt claimed it’s worth having doubts, because they enable us to see new options, new solutions. Firmness believed that a firm approach to problems enables people test the solutions, gain experience, and make most advantageous choices.
Decision would watch the discussion every day.
One day, she stood up and asked: doubts in taking decisions or firmness in taking decisions?
Do you really believe the world is all about you? Every subject is a DECISION.
If you have made a decision today, stick to it. Firmness and Doubt will be your allies.
